"Uwah!" Keigo was not expecting Ichigo's reaction to continue down such an extreme path; he hit the couch cushions with a grunt, legs sliding against Ichigo's lap. It was a short-lived moment, at the very least, and Keigo sat upright, withdrawing his legs so that he could sit on them instead. It was on the very tip of Keigo's tongue to yell about being so unexpectedly rough, but then Ichigo sputtered out that remark and whatever Keigo was going to say died in his throat.

He blinked, then narrowed his eyes at Ichigo somewhat critically. What was he saying? Pressing his palms against his knees, Keigo frowned and studied Ichigo, as if it would reveal to him the secrets of his reaction... Well, Keigo could take an educated guess, at the very least.

"Of course I can. I just did," he said as if it was the most obvious conclusion in the world. The playful edge was gone from his voice, a matter-of-fact cadence taking precedence over anything else. Though, really, Keigo could have taken what Ichigo said in any number of ways... "Are you trying to say something about me?" Keigo really wasn't as confident as he played himself up to be half the time, after all. He wouldn't have thought that Ichigo would make that kind of observation about his appearance, but maybe some deeper thoughts had slipped out...
