Wintertime wasn't one of Keigo's favorite seasons for a variety of reasons, but this had to top the list: snowstorms. What started as a light dusting soon turned into a downright blizzard, making the roads congested and at a standstill and the subway and train backed up considerably. Many businesses were closed and Keigo himself didn't bother opening up shop, but part of him was regretting that decision. But then again, with how traffic was, it wasn't likely he'd be getting many customers, anyway. So it boiled down to being cooped up in the apartment versus being cooped up in the bar... It was a no-win situation, honestly.
So, he was lounging on the couch, sprawled across it as his eyes settled on the TV, barely registering what was playing. The cat had come inside, too, and made itself comfortable on Keigo's stomach. It was quite a pathetic scene, really. Keigo looking morose and distant while the snow piled up outside... the cat curled up on top of him... There was practically a haze looming over him and the entire couch.
Winter really brought out the worst of him. Good thing Ichigo was there to suffer through it with him. Misery loves company, and all.
